Hi, I’m Vinny the Director of Granite Morgan Smith. I’ve been in the accountancy world for many years and realise the challenges many businesses face. With specialisms in owner managed businesses, audits and the construction industry. I believe that having great communication with our clients is very important.
In my spare time I like to socialise with friends at my local pub and restaurants in Maldon where I live. Being in the countryside is my favourite place to be that’s why I love living in this wonderful area.
Hello, I’m Dean a consultant of GMS and finance officer of a large labour agency in London. I’ve been with GMS for many years and have a vast experience of owner managed businesses, Audit and the construction industry.
In my spare time I enjoy visiting my Spanish abode and watching Tottenham play. I also enjoy wining and dining with friends.
Hi, I’m Lynn and I am Vinny’s PA and office administrator. I have been with Granite Morgan Smith since 2013 where I started as an admin assistant. Having only worked in the music industry previously, starting afresh in a completely different environment was extremely rewarding. I enjoy my job immensely and am happy to go above and beyond to ensure our clients receive the best service we can offer.
On a personal level, I moved to this lovely part of the country from East London in 2002 and am a lifelong hammers supporter!
Hi, I’m Jules and I joined GMS in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to this I worked for the Metropolitan Police Service as a Cost Centre Manager for 12 Years.
I really enjoy my role at GMS offering support to both our clients and the team here in the office.
Most of my spare time is spent with my two children but I do enjoy a good box set occasionally! I also sing in a Function Band at weekends which is very different to the day job!!!
Hi, I’m Joanne and I joined GMS as a manager in April 2019. I’ve worked in the accountancy industry for over 10 years on clients ranging from large companies to SMEs and everything in between. I specialise in Audit, but also have a wide range of experience in preparing company accounts and corporation tax returns.
On a personal level, I’m kept busy with my husband and three young children but when I do get some spare time I enjoy running and baking (although not at the same time!).

Hi, I’m Sarah and I deal with all of your book keeping and payroll needs. I started at Granite Morgan Smith in February 2019. I have over 15 years’ experience working with many different clients in various fields - both in practice and stand-alone businesses. I put 100% into everything I do and will always help if I can.
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends but nothing beats being with family, in particular watching a good film on the sofa with them (and the 2 dogs of course!).
Hello, I’m Louis and I am a junior accountant at Granite Morgan Smith where I started as an apprentice in the summer of 2016. I am now fully AAT qualified and will soon be starting my ACCA studies – ultimately my aim is to become a chartered accountant. I draft limited company statutory accounts and help in the preparation of self-assessment returns and enjoy helping out our clients with any queries and questions that they have.
Outside of the office, most of my weekends are taken up by football, as a season ticket holder at Tottenham - although when I want to see a better game of football, I turn to a local Sunday team who I help manage and play for with my friends!!
Hello, I’m Zoë and I’m one of the semi-senior accountants at Granite Morgan Smith. Since I started as a trainee in July 2015, I have passed many exams which is helping me achieve my goal of becoming a chartered accountant. I now draft limited company accounts and prepare self-assessment returns.
In my spare time I enjoy watching Braintree Town F.C., well sometimes when they aren’t losing.
Hi, I am Nicky and I am the credit controller here at GMS. I have been with GMS for a year now and I’m enjoying getting to know our clients and building relationships with them.
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and watching my children partake in their various sporting activities.
